Palladio Museum

Is a center for research and public engagement in architecture, located in Vicenza’s Palazzo Barbarano—the only building that Andrea Palladio saw completed and was able to supervise in every detail.
Born from the work of the Centro Internazionale di Studi di Architettura Andrea Palladio, the museum shares ongoing academic research with the public by transforming its rooms into annual thematic laboratories within a rotating three-year program.

In the historic Disney animated short Ben and Me (1953), a clever little mouse named Amos—loyal invention partner to Benjamin Franklin—suggests to future U.S. President Thomas Jefferson the famous opening words of the Declaration of Independence.
For the Italia–America Friendship Festival, the enterprising rodent will lead children and their families on a journey to discover the Italian architect most admired by Jefferson, himself a passionate amateur architect.
