Palladio Museum

The Palladio Museum is a center for architectural research and outreach located in Palazzo Barbarano in Vicenza, the only building Andrea Palladio saw completed and was able to oversee in every detail. Founded by the Centro Internazionale di Studi di Architettura Andrea Palladio, the museum aims to share the results of ongoing academic research with the public, transforming its rooms into rotating thematic laboratories as part of a three-year program.

In the classic 1953 Disney animated short Ben and Me, a clever little mouse named Amos becomes the trusted companion and co-inventor of Benjamin Franklin—and is even the one to suggest the opening line of the Declaration of Independence to Thomas Jefferson, future third President of the United States.
For the Italia–America Friendship Festival, this enterprising rodent leads children and their families on an entertaining journey to discover the Italian architect most beloved by Jefferson—himself a passionate architect.
