Livio Pacella

Is a Vicenza-based actor, director, and writer with a background in theater, honored with numerous awards both on stage and as a director.
In the past two years, he has featured in prestigious cinema and TV productions: the second season of La legge di Lidia Poët (Netflix), the series Stucky (Rai2), and Un passo dal cielo 8 (Rai1).
He also appears alongside Chris Pine in Carolina Cavalli’s upcoming film Il rapimento di Arabella.
Pacella is part of the cast of Portobello, Marco Bellocchio’s highly anticipated HBO miniseries on the Enzo Tortora case, set for release in 2026 and premiering at the 2025 Venice Film Festival.

Actor and director Livio Pacella reads excerpts from Paradise Alley, a novel written by Sylvester Stallone in 1970 but published only years later, following the success of Rocky.
Set in postwar New York, the book tells the story of three Italian-American brothers—Cosmo, Lenny, and Victor Carboni—growing up in poverty.
A raw and poetic portrayal of life in the slums, the novel explores themes of redemption, violence, and solidarity, offering an authentic glimpse into Italian-American identity.
An unfairly forgotten tale of roots, belonging, and the struggle for recognition—brought to life once more through Pacella’s voice and presence.
